About Eyes of Lara
Eyes of Lara is a female‑fronted metal project with intense, dynamic sound — blending death metal, industrial metal, melodic metal, and other assorted influences. The music pairs powerful female vocals with down-tuned guitar grooves, and solid drumming, striking a balance between raw aggression and atmospheric depth. This combination appeals to fans of extreme metal who crave both ferocity and nuance.
Formed in 2022 as an international, online collaboration, Eyes of Lara write and compose from two (2) distant locations on the Planet; merging diverse musical backgrounds into a cohesive and impactful whole from afar.
The first glimpse of the project was in 2024, with a 30‑second teaser video for the debut single Ashened Yesterday. In 2025, the track was supported by a cinematic lyric video that showcases its lyrical depth. Since then, Eyes of Lara have been within the underground metal scene, continually refining their sound and expanding their reach.
Even though Eyes of Lara have only been in existence since 2022, officially, some of these songs were composed and recorded as far back as 2018. For instance, 'Every Scar...' was composed and recorded in 2019, but not released until 2026.
